Very Proud Mom!!

Today was report card day.
Zack was so proud to show me his report card. He got straight A's!! It is getting harder and harder for him to keep that up. With all the book reports and Social Studies getting harder, I am REALLY proud to see that! So My son mad High Honors!! Go Zack!!


Then Isaiah, doesn't get grades yet, but he got all great remarks! He thought he got a bad report card because he only got + and check marks. Once I explained it to him he was happy!! Way to go Isaiah!!


Then you have Moriah! She also did well. But really how can you go wrong with playing, coloring and reading?!! (hahaha) no really she did well too! Go Moriah, Go, Go Moriah!!!!

So after all that, I am a proud happy mommy!! (oh, and I did well helping Zack put together his costume for his book report, He got an A on that as well!!)

Snowball got a haircut

Snowball really needed a haircut and we got him in today. His hair is a bit shorter than I would of wanted, but it really needed cut. It was getting matted in some areas. So I think He looks real cute in his Cubs bandanna!

Funny Bella!

The Monday I was working on cleaning my house up some and Bella called me into her room and said that I need to take a picture of her. So, I of course went and got my camera to take a picture of her sitting on her bed with all her babies! Don't you just love her pj's? She changes them all day long and they never match. (unless it is the one piece ones! hahaha)

Go OakHill Twisters!

So Moriah's group got the 2ND place trophy and the bigger girls got the 1st place. They did really good. We would of walked away with 2 1st place but they marked 4 points off for the music not starting in time (which wasn't our fault the previous team turned it off!) Anyway here are a few pictures of her at the competition. Here she is proud of her medal!! Daddy had to work today so when he got home she did her routine for him and took this picture. (I caught her saying "go oak hill" she is so funny!)

I don't like Cheerleader shoes!

Ok, I know this sounds like a stupid post, but I do hate cheer shoes!!! It took me 18 minutes to get the shoes unlaced, and the stitching taken out to get the color changed to purple and black from light blue! Why did the company think they had to stitch up the hole where I need to change the color?!! Well they are now ready to go. Moriah has her first cheer competition this weekend in Virden. here are the shoes now with the right colors in them. Don't they look great?

Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, it's off to Cleaning we go!!

I am so excited that I have another, messy room cleaned out and another 2 bags of garage sale stuff! The Girls room. And where does all this STUFF come from? I don't understand how I keep coming up with more stuff. Anyway I feel good it took me 2 days to go through it all, but it had to be done. Friday night we took the kids to the show "Hotel for Dogs" it was very cute. Then on Saturday I went scrapbooking at Zion school (I had signed up to help with it) so I got about 12 pages done there (go me!! I haven't scrapbooked forever!) Sunday was the pinewood derby for Scouts, so Mike had to leave Church early to get there for sign in, Isaiah didn't get to go because he was sick throwing up the night before. And then today I went to Prairie Years to sell bows, took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese in Bloomington, went and sold bows to Cookie Cutters, and Gingerbread House, stopped by Sam's Club and I am now home!! What a tiring day! Next put away the rest of the food, make cookies for Isaiah to take to school in the morning to celebrate his birthday and Cookies for Moriah to celebrate her half-birthday. Oh, and I need to make supper too! Ok, can you tell my life is on like a super fast forward with too much to get done?! I hope everyone else is healthy and life is running smoothly!!

My Isaiah turns 8 today!!

The kids are out of school again today due to the weather being so cold, so Isaiah is happy he is already playing a Wii game and hanging out in his pj's. Tonight we are taking him and a few friends (all cousins) to see the show Hotel for Dogs. He isn't one that likes the parties with all the big people there since he is so shy. I have a cake coming for Sunday, Because I have to have a cake still for him to eat! (it will have a dog on it!)

Other than celebrating I think I will work on my bedroom today.

one- because it isn't as bad as the toy room was

two- because I don't feel the best today and I would like to still get something done on the cleaning! I should throw in a nap there too!!

Yeah for moms!!

I have a HUGH thank you to send out to my mom. She came over and helped me get my ironing done. OK, to some of you, you are probably thinking "what you can't do your ironing?". But no it was more than ironing, it was a pile of ironing the size of Mt. Everest!! (and I am not joking!!) So while mom did that I made some curtains for my uncle. (I was give the fabric before Christmas and just did them!!) So, after we got those 2 tasks finished we cleaned out the toy room! Yes this is a BIG job too. I have a TON of toys going to the garage sale that we will have in the spring. Now, if I can keep up with the goal of getting one room gutted every other week of so I will be very happy!! We are trying to get everything done before the baby comes this summer, so if I get the cleaning done early then I have more time to have fun with baby stuff when I am bigger and don't want to clean!! Anyone else working on their New Years Resolutions?

busy day!

So, today we got lots of snow, I had a doctors appt. which went well I actually lost 2 pounds, the kids got out of school early, worked on pinewood derby cars, cleaned the bathroom in the basement and the laundry room, next I have to go sign Moriah up to sell girl scout cookies (so if you want cookies I have a little girl selling!!) I worked on bows all day yesterday and need to redo my stock, I am getting ready for my OoPs! sale. Anyway I hope everyone is having a good day so far I think (hope) the kids will be out of school tomorrow, it is going to be super CoLd!!

More Disney

One day when it rained we went what we call Monorail hopping. This is where we jumped on the monorail and went from hotel to hotel to shop the gift stores and walk around the hotels. Then we went and checked out some of the other hotels that don't have the monorail like the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This one was really cool they had animals roaming in the back, so if you stayed there you could look out your room and see zebras! How cool is that! Anyway it was fun then, we went to Downtown Disney and looked around again. I got each of the kids a surprise to bring home to them and had a good time just looking around with Bella. The rest of the family went to see a show at the theater. Anyway these are just a few more of my pictures that I took at Disney.

Home in the cold weather!

We got home yesterday around noon. The kids were excited to see me and Bella. We took it easy and rested most of the day. I was trying to upload some pictures to my blog, but there is an error every time so check back later and maybe I will get some up! A cold front was headed to Orlando this week so it wouldn't of been so warm there this week, they said that it was unseasonably warm last week. Usually it is still light jacket and jeans weather this time of the year. So, Amy check the weather before you go it could be cool or it could be perfect.

We jumped back into our routine this morning mom made breakfast took the kids to school, then I headed to Springfield to drop off bows and go to the Cub scout store to get pinewood derby car stuff, (the derby is this weekend!! running a bit late I know, but we will get them done!!) We have Daisy Scouts tonight right after school, then going to Katie's to get the cars cut out!

Magic Kingdom again today!

I decided to spend both of my days at Magic Kingdom because I thought that would be the park that Bella liked the best! (And I was right!!) We went on soooo many rides today the lines were great only 10-20 minutes for most of them (Peter Pan was and always is 65 minutes! I got a fast pass for this first thing in the morning so we could ride it today, There is another GREAT tip for those wanting tips for Disney!!) We rode many rides 2 or 3 times in a row today: the carousal, it's a small world, Pooh, and lots of others. Also, if you have kids that love Pooh you should eat at the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom, It is one of the best priced character meals to do! My dad has an extra day on his ticket so I think I will be going to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Oh, and we went to see Cinderella again today and she left a BIG kissy mark on Bella's forehead. (she came back and told grandma, pointing to it, that "Cinderella kissed me here!") My nice warm vacation is almost to a close, but I am ready to see my Hubby and other kids again too! Love you all and see you soon!!

Florida!

Yes that is right, I am in Florida right now. No, this was not planned. Actually i packed Bella and myself in about 15 minutes and was ready to go. My sister was leaving last Saturday to met my mom and dad at the timeshare in Orlando and I asked Mike what he thought of me heading out with just Bella (since she is free to get into Disney still!) So here we are. We went to Magic Kingdom yesterday and saw Cinderella! (this is what Bella asked to do over and over again) she had a GREAT time! we rode several rides, watched the 3pm parade, ate ice cream on Main Street, and had a great time together. I will put up pictures when I get home I didn't bring my camera cord to upload. I will be going back to Magic Kingdom again with Bella one more time before we leave and maybe go to Sea World too. More to come later!

New Years day

Mike was off on New Years day so we went to Bloomington with the kids (not Bella, she went to Amie's house) and did a little shopping that I needed to get done and then went to see Bolt in 3D. It was a cute show. After the show we went to Monicals Pizza and had a yummy pizza and bread sticks!

Today, I want to get more of the house cleaned (hoping that I will feel better soon) and then do something else with the kids. (although I really need to get my Valentine and St. Pat's bows finished and taken to the stores, they are already calling!)

New Years Eve Celebration

For New Years Eve we just stayed home and made some "pigs in a blanket", poppers, and pizza. Then we watched Narnia we hadn't seen the second one, then we made banana splits and ice cream sundaes and rang in the new year at 11 with New York. (that was pretty good for us, usually we are in bed way before that!!)

And of course we had the sparkling grape juice for me and the kids to drink! (Mike bought the very last bottle at Wal-Mart and everyone wanted it! He said that people came up to him asking where he found it and turns out he found it on a shelf in the toy department.)
