Here is a picture of the girls today before we went on our walk. We wanted to walk before it got in the 90's today! We did our walk in only 35 minutes instead of the normal 56 minutes!! I don't remember how long it is but I do know that it is around a mile! Not ready for a marathon, but we are doing good picking up the pace as a family!! Way to go kids!Tuesday, July 29, 2008

Moriah's Birthday Trip
Here are a few pictures from our trip. We had a GREAT time. The first set of pictures is Moriah waiting for the train. She was soooooo excited. When we got to the train station everyone knew where we were going. Moriah and the baby matched! And EVERYONE sang Happy Birthday to her (even strangers on the street)
And here she is on the train. It was right on time (OK like 2 minutes late, but no big deal!) She was so happy; can you tell? she was all smiles the whole way there!
This was one of moriahs favorite stops! She found so many little things here at the store, and since the prices aren't too bad she got to pick out a few things!
This little girl of mine had to have her picture by all the lego creations! She would run up to them and say "take my picture mom"!
Moriah LOVED The cafe! It was really nice treat that Grandma Prather did for us! I let Moriah take some pictures so she had a good time doing that. The one with the waiter is funny, because he told her that wasn't fair that she took a picture with out him knowing (he doesn't like his friends to see him in a pink apron! she laughed so hard about that!)
Here she is with the cast of the play. (which was really good and if you have a girl the right age and haven't done this you need to go before it is over in October.) They even sang Happy Birthday to Moriah which was really beautiful!
All over Chicago there are dresses made out of stuff (recycling) so I took pictures of some of the favorites. Bubblewrap, Coke cans, beach shells, and keys!
On the way home Moriah couldn't wait to get her Hello Kitty stuff out to start coloring! We had a great trip. THanks for lookin over our photos!

Kallie left this morning at 9 AM they are headed to Chicago to catch a flight to NY and then across seas!! I sent some hairbows along with Kallie to give to some of the girls there! Jonathan and David!
Yesterday I had to teach Children's Church and our story was on Jonathan and David and what good friends they were. So as I was doing the planning for this story all I could think about was one of my friends. And this friend is Chrys! Chrys you have been there for my like Jonathan for David, you are a genuine friend. You are happy for everything that I do and try to help me come up with other ideas for my business, you love to go on my little road trips with me (not to mention I love to take you to places you have never been), and it seems to me that when I am happy you are happy for me and when I am sad you are there to pick me up and understand where I am coming from!!
So I want to say Thank you for moving here and being the friend that you are!! I am glad that my church chose your Father-in Law to be our minister!!

The Circus!
I finally am getting to adding more pictures of the Circus. Things have been crazy this last week! We had a good time, the only problem was that it rained before the show started and it was delayed for a bit. But I took pictures of the kids favorite parts. I hope you enjoy them.
The kids being silly before the Circus started.
All the kids thought the dogs were funny
Amie and Meghan joined us
And yeah the Circus people are crazy!! Walking in a rope without a safety net!!!!
And we can't forget to get sno cones, peanuts, and cotton candy when you are at a circus!!

Up goes the Big Top!
The Circus is in town!! Zion Lutheran School brings the Circus to town every other year and since that is where the kids go we have to go check it out!! This morning we went and watched the elephant (Sara) put the tent up! It was really neat.
As we were leaving we saw the man on top of the tent putting the flags up!! what a job!! I have now realized that there are MUCH worse jobs out there than I thought!
