Discovery Museum Bloomington FREE DAY!!

We had so much fun today!! Mary called and told us that the museum was having a free admission day and so we went and met up with her and her kids and took Chrys and Aaron with us!! The kids could of stayed there all day long but us mommies were tired!!

Moriah with her early Birthday Present

Mikes mom and Craig came to Church with us and then came back to our place for lunch. They also brought along Moriah's Birthday Present. (they wanted her to get as much time on her new bike as she could) Can you tell she is very happy!

VBS week!

So we have been really busy with VBS this week at church. It has been crazy busy around here. I have been getting ready for a bow party that I have this weekend and have been working on putting together a Shutterfly photo book because I have one of the free offers that end soon. So sorry it took so long for me to post, but at least you are now updated on what has been going on. Keep checking for my July special for the bows it will be posted soon!

Jungle Play Garden in Bloomington

So on Tuesday I went to Bloomington with Chrys and Aaron from church and we went to the spray park. Bella was more interested in the actual playground not the water. We played there for quite awhile, the kids were so tired when we left (Aaron and Bella) that they crashed before we were out of Bloomington!

New dog friend for Snowball

Ok that should read a new friend for Sassy since she has been here longer!! (hahaha) Troy and Jantina came home to visit this week so we got the dogs together for a playdate. In training they said that it is good for the dogs to play with each other when you can.

But Snowball would just go under the bar not over!

The BIG Sale

We had soooooo much stuff. We filled the front yard and the back driveway. We had 4 people working the sale at all times and the guys (mostly Jeff) make us lunch. (I had the meat already prepared all he had to do was throw it together.) But we all did great! I am glad to have my garage back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photo Shoot for the Paper today!

So the Courier called because of the Route 66 sale and wanted to do an article

on what are we doing to prepare for the sale! So We set up a start of the kids water/kool-aid stand and they came and took some pictures. after the pictures I let the girls have a strawberry bar and they sat under the umbrella to cool off!

The cool thing about the article is that they are talking about my bows in there too!! It will be in on Thursday because the sale is on Friday and Saturday 8-6. Once again, we have a TON of sale stuff. I think we have something for everyone!

Sale bows 1.50, all printed bows 3.00, and all solid bows 1.50! No special orders. Friday and Saturday only!

Oh, and yes we have one of those blow up guys that wave in the air to get your attention!!

New pictures of Snowball

Snowball was too cute playing with is stuffed bone that Moriah got him so I took some pictures. I was in the living room with Bella and heard him making it squeak so I went and grabbed the camera.He is smiling at you here!! (ok at least it looks like it!)

Discovery Museum with Fetch from PBS

Here is one of my favorite stations!! We made homemade ice cream with a gallon Ziploc bag!! it was really yummy too! Here is Zack shaking the bag And Moriah and Isaiah eating it!!

This was Bella's FAVORITE thing to do!! She loved putting the bandanna in the tubes to fly around.

Next stop was the snacks!! We got to make our own trail mix with all of Fetch's favorite snacks. There was grapes and veggies there too!

Here the kids made boats out of foil and tried to see how many pennies there boat could hold.

Finally, they got to meet Fetch, Ruff Ruffman himself! Bella thought he was funny, she keep petting his belly to make him stomp on the floor and then would laugh!! The people there were taking her picture because she was being so cute!

First trip to doggie school

So I only took one picture of Snowball at dog school. We went to Petsmart to do the puppy training.

Week one-

• teach Snowball his name. We are to teach him his name by calling it and when he looks at us say "YES" and give him a training treat.


• teach Snowball to look at us in the eyes. This is done by calling his name and taking the treat from his eyes to ours and saying "LOOK" when he completes this he gets a treat.


• and last when we take him out to go potty, when he goes we say "YES" and give him a treat!

The kids are really enjoying the puppy. So far I haven't minded having the dog either since they are still doing their part of taking care of him!

Welcome to the family!!

So, here is a shocking post for everyone that knows how I feel about this situation. We are adding to the family.

Ok, Ok I broke down and gave in.

Everyone else was doing it,

yes, we have a dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is name is Snowball Fluffy. (the kids named him)

Bella loved how he would chase after her when she would run!

Kallie loves the puppy! He really took to her. He slept on her lap while we talked last night.

And I was very surprised that he only got up one time to go potty last night!! So far the kids think he is great! Oh and by the way, Isaiah didn't want his picture taken with Snowball last night so that is why you dont see him in the pictures. I will get some and add them later!
