Happy Easter!!! He Has Risen!
The kids looking for the eggs in the yard! There is snow on top of them!!
Talk about a horrible family pic!! I hope Emilies camera got a better one!
And this is funny, the kids went out and took there Easter baskets to catch all the snowflakes!!
They were so crazy.

Saturday Before Easter!!
My dad always brings over Easter donuts for the kids on Saturday, so this year was no different. Mel-o-Cream makes Easter Basket donuts that everyone loves. I told dad to just leave a long john for Bella, well, Bella cried for a basket donut so dad left it for her, and as you can see she loved it!! (I don't normally take messy baby faces, but since she was tring to eat off the jelly beans and the cream to start of with I couldn't not take a picture!)
These are just a few snapshots that I took at the play. (Not the best but I wanted something to remind Zack that he did this play>) There were two different families a modern (which Zack was in) and a Biblical. It was a GREAT story (of course) and Zack did awesome for his first play! He even invited his teacher and she took the time to come and see his performance! Thank you to all that came, Zack was very happy to see you there!
Lots of Post today!!
OK, so Amy, I have been really busy. I had my first craft fair for the Lincoln Jr. Women's Club at the Rec and that was a GREAT success! Next, I had to take treats to school for snacks for Easter so I worked with my sister and made cookies. Then on Friday the kids had a half day and did stations of the Cross, so I attended that. Saturday morning we colored Easter eggs. Oh, and everyday last week (besides Friday) we had to take Zack to Church because he was in the Easter Play! So this is where I have been!! I have pics that I will be adding in a bit!

Happy St. Pat's Day!!
We started celebrating St. Pat's day on Sunday at mom's house. She always makes a green meal for us. We had green bread, green potatoes, peas, BBQ ham (normal color) and green jell-o. And yes the potatoes look GROSS! Oh, and there was a pistachio thing, but I didn't try it!

Cleaning the neighborhood is rewarding!
So as usual we went for a walk and the kids collected cans. This started because of a cub scout requirement a couple of years ago and stuck with the kids. So for all the cans that we collect the kids get the money when we cash them in. They average a dollar every time, but this time was different. As we were walking Isaiah found a dollar on the sidewalk and down in the valley Zack found 2 still in package Strawberry Shortcake dolls from a mcD's happy meal! What a rewarding trip for the kids!

McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum, This ones for Mike!
Here is another stop that we made on our trip. Mike really enjoyed this. He loves politics (I personally am sick of hearing about them at this point!), But I am a loving wife and we stopped in and checked it out! Right now you can get in the Museum for free until November 1st. Below are a few pictures of the museum!
This is a video of Mike. He went in the Voice room and recorded this answer to the question about freedom.

Happy 10th Anniversary to us!!
Next we went shopping on the Magnificent Mile. We hit the Disney Store, American Girl, Express, Ralph Lauren, Apple, The Water Tower Place, ETC..... (we went in to all, but did not buy at all!! hahaha) FYI if you have girls and wanted to do the Theater at the American Girl Place you need to do so before September 1st of this year. They are taking that out of the stores and the Chicago location is moving to the Water Tower Place in October.
In front of the Lego store!
Street Musicians
After shopping we headed to our Dinner Reservations. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. We enjoyed our time here. Since it was our Anniversary we got a free dessert. (homemade cheesecake!! It was the size of a personal pan pizza!) Mike enjoyed his steak, but we didn't like our bill at the end! (I am sure you know what I mean, Steakhouse+downtown Chicago=BIG BUCKS)
As you can tell we total enjoyed our time together and can't wait to do something like this again (we know that it will be a long time, because our sitter needs to recover too! =)
Oh, I almost forgot to add the Trump Tower!! Here are the pictures of the new Trump Tower that they are Building. The guy Bill from Season 1 of the Apprentice is in charge of this location!

THE BIG NEWS!!
OK, the first big news is that Mike quit his job yesterday. He turned in his two weeks notice and is going to be working for a car dealership. The cool thing about it is that he was approached about the job he wasn't even looking. So now our bills will not be as tight as they have been.
Then I have a second big deal. I contacted the buyer of a Department store about selling RuffleButts and they want to see them for the fall line that is coming out (which should be good commissions) PLUS they want to see my bows!!! If I land this deal I will have to have some help. Either my little sister or niece or even hire a high school girl or two to do some of the simple time consuming things like roll the ribbon, cut, heat seal, etc.. Anyway, I hope you all find this to of been worth waiting to hear but I had to wait until he told his current employer. If this was just "that's it, I thought it would be bigger news" sorry for the disappointment! We are just having a really, really Blessed week!! Thanks for listening to me ramble!

What a great day!!
So not only did I plan a get away with my hubby for the weekend today, I also got orders for 4 different stores today! This was a great day I don't know what can really top this off! Okay so I do, but I can't share this other news with you until tomorrow or Wednesday. So keep your eyes on the blog so you can see what is up!!! And NO I am not having a baby. I actually cleaned out all of my maternity and Nursing clothes to take to the consignment shop in Sherman tomorrow. (but that isn't the news either!) Talk to you later I can't keep my mouth shut on here!
Hobbies and Career day!
Today was Hobbies and Career day at my kids school so I signed up to show the girls how to make hair bows. I had 2 classes total of 18 girls and it was a lot of fun! We make simple 4 loop bows and a streamer pony-o in the school colors. I pre-made the lined clips and sewed the bow together they got to make the top knot and help glue it on the clip. Then on the streamer we just knotted the ribbon onto the ponytail holder. They had a blast!! I set up my bow display and they LOVED all the different bow that I had. They do this every other year so I maybe doing it again. I will post pictures when I get some from the school, I was too busy to take pictures myself.

1st Birthday Bow Bash!
Monkey in the mirror!
Ever since I was a little girl my dad would take us around on his shoulders to all the mirrors and look for monkeys in the mirror. Now, it is my little girls turn for monkey in the mirror, and they sing "monkey in the mirror, monkey in the mirror, Hi ho the Dario there's a monkey in the mirror!" Anyway, I got it on film so I can scrapbook about it.
Dad also does "Flips and Jumps" with all the kids even Bella. Jumps are when dad gets on his hands and knees and the kids jump off his back and Flips are when dad lays on his back and uses his feet to flip them over his head! (I will take a video of this over the weekend to let you see. They LOVE it!
