Ellia week 3

Ellia celebrated her 3 week birthday today!! We went to Springfield to the Dr. for a check-up and a little shopping that I needed to get done. And then we had lunch with Melanie. Dr. said that Ellia looks great stats for her 3 week appointment

• 9lbs. 9ozs
• 21 inches long
• head circumference 14.5 inches

She goes back at 2 months. Dr. also advised us to have all the kids go in Oct to get the flu shots since the swine flu is going to be soooooo bad this year! And what would this post be without a sleeping picture

Corn Fest Normal IL

We went to the Corn Fest in Normal on Sunday afternoon. We eat corn, bought some to take home and cook, walked around and looked at the vendors, and visited a couple of specialty stores. So basically the same thing as last year but it was fun!!!!

Ellia at 2 weeks

I went over to my mom's house yesterday and her and Ellia matched so I had to take a picture of them together. I really liked Ellia in her little cherry outfit. This video is of Bella singing to Ellia when she was starting to cry. And it worked!! She stopped crying when she was singing!!!

At two weeks Ellia is still sleeping really good, is getting cuter everyday, and is very well loved by everyone in this house!!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for the kids. We all went together as a family to take them to their new classrooms and to get them ready.

And as you all know Isaiah hates pictures so I only got Zack and Moriah in the picture outside of the school.

Since the kids got out of school early we picked them up and took them to Clinton to the Monical's Pizza lunch buffet, then Mike dropped Bella, Ellia, and myself back at home while Mike and the big kids went to see G Force. Overall i think they all had a pretty good day!!

First week home!

This first week home has been packed with excitement!!! Having a new baby at home is excitement in itself , but when you add the other four kids all all that they do it adds that much more!! Above are just a few snapshots that were taken this last week at home.

Here is Amie's little boy Maxton with baby Ellia they will be great friends (and cousins) Then you have Bella, who decided to swallow a magnetic marble ball on Thursday. We called 911 had the ambulance, fire truck, and police outside our house. She rode with daddy in the ambulance to the hospital and had xrays done. Sure enough she has a really shiny ball sitting right in her tummy. Now we are just waiting for her to poop it out!!Next, we have Zack and Isaiah, if they aren't playing video games, Webkinz, or wrestling they will be making big card creations.

Last but not least you have Moriah, she can't wait for school to start, plays Barbies all the time and loves to ride her bike.

School starts on Wednesday!! I am ready for my house to quiet down, but not ready for the get up, ready, and run to school. The routine will be nice though, I will get my walks in with Bella and Ellia when they are gone and start on my bows again. I have lots of shows coming up that I need to be ready for. And for those that have asked "how do you say her name?" The answer is L Leah. Ellia

Day 3 in the Hospital

Ellia has had her IV removed today and all monitors!!! So now we need to make sure that she continues to pee her diapers so we can leave in the morning! She past all of her other test that she had done (sonogram on the kidneys, and blood levels).

This bunch of flowers came from Mikes mom and Craig. Then the flowers in the background of the next picture are from my kids.

Finally, Mommy and Ellia snuggle time!!

Baby Ellia Lillian is here!

Mike got to go down and see her and took the top picture while I was sleeping and waiting for my legs to get un numb. Then the next picture is of mommy getting to go see her after a shower and being able to walk.

We are proud to announce that Baby Ellie is here and she is very cute!!! She weighed in at 8 lbs. 5.5oz. and 21 inches long. She is spending the night in the nursery to be monitored and I have to go down to nurse her when she is hungry. She did REALLY well with her first nursing. She latched on like she had been doing it for weeks!! I am sure I will be posting more pictures tomorrow (I am hoping that she will be in the room with me so I can take some more!!!)
