Bella's Fisrt Haircut!

So I finally did it!! I went today to a place called Cookie Cutters in Normal to get Bella's hair cut. I wanted to get her some bangs so here are some wild before pics and after. This place was sooo cool tho, she got to watch whatever DVD

she wanted and got to pick out what car she wanted to sit in (they had an airplane and a tractor too) It was really cute! Let me know what you think of the new do!

Noah's 10th Birthday Party!

Noah with his Birthday Cookies! Noah wanted a Cosmic bowling party for his 10th birthday so we all went to Atlanta Bowling alley and had a great time. We plugged the jukebox with some great songs for the kids including: Toby Mac, Cars (The Movie songs), The Chipmunks, and lots more. It was great. Zack can't wait for his 10th Birthday party now!

Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet!

What a crazy day!! Friday was the cub scout banquet, which I helped set up with my sisters and some other volunteers. We had to take down everything from one of the teens funerals (which I never posted about this, we had a horrible teen car accident a week ago from Friday. 6 Teens in a truck were "hill jumping" and crashed into a tree. 2 are in the hospital still one in critical conditions and 3 from Lincoln died and 1 from Taylorville died! very, very sad. they were 15-20 in age.) set up the blue and gold then when we were done we had to set up for the next funeral!! (crazy!!) But, the Blue and Gold was GREAT!! We had a magic show for the kids after the dinner and he was great! He was from Chicago!

It brought tearsto my eyes!!

So I was at Church on Sunday night, because Zack is going to be in the Easter Performace and I stayed up in the Nursry and made bows while visiting with Chrys. While sitting there my phone goes off with a text message. It was a picture of Bella climbing up the crib. If you know me, you know that we don't really use the crib much, it is there for naps (if then)!! Anyway when I got home the crib was gone and the toddler bed was brought up!! :( How sad is that?!!!?!?! I was so sad to see it down, but Bella likes getting in and out of her big (little) girl bed!

Hows that for today 3 posts!!! I ment to get this in before the video of today, but oh well! Have a great day.

I just had to take a short video clip of the girls dancing to the Elmo dvd today! Bella always does this silly dance! I hope it put a smile on your face today! Oh, and don't you just love what Moriah picked out to where today?

Isaiah always wants a turkey leg!

I have been busy once again!! So anyway, wehad a great Valentine's Day. I made a nice dinner with a turkey, mashed potatoes, finger jello, rolls and salad. Each of the kids got a little treat from mom and dad. (bella loves her Elmo stuff)

Puppet play from the 3rd grade class

Today I got to go see Zack and his class do a puppet show of Charlott's Web. It was really cute. And one of the parents brought in real piggies!! they are about 7 weeks old. Thanks for looking!

Why is it so hard?

Why is it that after having four kids it is so hard to say that you are done? I am blessed with four wonderful loving children. What brings this to my mind is that as I was sitting looking at my email just a bit ago my little baby Bella was dumping out my pictures that I just grouped together and when I was picking them up there were some pictures of her in the hospital. It seems like yesterday that I was sitting with a newborn in my arms, but now I turn around and she is talking, walking, laughing, and anything else that you could imagine an 18 month getting into!!

Also, over the weekend I went to breakfast with my mom and sisters as we always do on Feb. 9th because it is our little sisters birthday. As we sat and talked mom reminded us of her most favorite time of having children was like I have it now!! They are little and they still want everything to do with you!

It makes me sad to think that I will never have a newborn again, that I will actually start sleeping better in the night, and that my kids are growing up and there will be a day that they wont stop to tell me "I love you mommy"

With this all being said I think I am ready for someone in the family to have a baby so I can snuggle up next to it and give it some love, and to smell that newborn again!!

Progressive Dinner

I was a host house for a progressive dinner last night. This was a lot of fun (a lot of work, but fun). We had several college students sign up to come and do this. (those poor college students got a great meal and had a ton of fun) The first round of kids I had over had the soup and salad, then came the main course. With the second set of kids we played a game and put animals on there back and they had to figure out who they were ( I went with the Chinese them again here and put the year of the _____ pig, dog, snake ect.... ). They had fun with that. Then when they left to go to the last house to met up again in a big group I gave them each some Hershey's kisses and told them they could eat one, but share a kiss with someone tonight!!!

Happy Chinese New Year!!

Thursday was the first day of Chinese New Year. So on Friday when Moriah went to school I had her wear her Chinese Dress. Every year I have the family come over and we celebrate. Why do we celebrate you ask? Well, if you know my family we celebrate every holiday. Katie does the Halloween party, Amie does Cinco De Mayo, Troy unknown yet (he just moved back to illinois last year and hasn't picked one up yet that I know), And mom does pretty much all the rest. Groundhog day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Columbus Day, Pulaski Day ECT.........

And then there is Amber. This is Cynthia's little girl. She is such a cutie. And she bought new bows today aren't they cute?!! (hahaha)

Our visit was a lot of fun! We ate, talked, played Scatagories and Sequence, and laughed a ton!!! Thanks for coming to visit; we enjoy company.

School Field Trip!

I finally went on a field trip with Zack! We went to Peoria to see Charlottes Web. These are a couple of pics of the kids in his class. We had a great time

Of course I went and voted today, I hope you took the time out from the rainy weather to go vote (that is what we have had here for the weather anyway!) And if you now my hubby, you know that I can't go one election with out hitting the polling place!

Other than the bad weather and cleaning the house for guest to come to stay for a few days, I had little friends over to play with Moriah. I watched my niece and Nephew and then a friend from church came over to chat and let the girls play.

We had a Snow DAY!

I am really excited to have Isaiah in a video! If you know Isaiah, you know that he doesn't talk to anyone or like to look at the camera so that is why I am to happy.

So the kids had a Snow day on Friday!! We got 10 1/2 inches of snow and they had a blast playing in the snow and going sleding. Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!
