This first pic is of Alicia and another lady getting the balloon all outTime to fill it up with air!!!This is my brother in law with the balloon fan. He is an alterman for the City (which is why we get to help with the cool shaped balloons every year!)And this is the balloon from the inside!! How cool is that? And this is what it looked like all done and up in the air!!!

Balloon Fest

Friday night we went as a family to the balloon fest. Devon, Jeanne, and Alicia all helped out with the balloon. It was fun to take the kids and the Younts joined us after the ballgame since they have never done anything like this before. I even rode the zipper with the boys!!!

I loved this pic!!! There was no air movement so the balloons had a hard time staying up. It made for a good picture tho!!!

Mommy gets new hair do

So I have wanted to get highlights for a long time again, but they cost so much I only do it maybe once a year. I like how it turned out this time I did 2 shades of blonde and Jackie curled my hair too. Mike loved it! and then since we picked up Bellas glasses today too, I had to wear mine to make sure she felt ok in hers.

Bella gets glasses

For school it is required by the state to get an eye exam, turns out that Bella needed glasses. She was super excited to get them because when we went to the American Girl doll store that is what she bought for her doll Julie.

She will also be getting this pair of purple glasses

Rockford Childrens Museum

The kids loved going here last summer so much that Moriah asked all summer when do we get to go back. So, we planned another destination unknown and went back. We did the Red Robin for lunch and then Giradano's for dinner. We had a blast again. Sitting and waiting for Zack to get done on the segway

Ellie liked playing in the house this time. She didn't want to share the phones that call to the different areas of the museum, but had to learn too.

Family day trip to Chicago

For some reason my pictures uploaded backwards, so we will start with the beginning of our trip. I took the girls to the American Girl store while the boys went to the Cubs Game. We had a great time shopping and eating ice cream. :)

Cubs won!! Isaiah got 3 autographs from the players, and was super excited!!!!

It was such a perfect day out! the weather was nice with a breeze and great for walking around downtown Chicago and sitting at a Cubs game!

Mike and the kids walking along the water edge after our visit to the Shedd Aquarium. The kids had a good time. their were sailboat all over the water that they were watching and Ellie liked chasing the birds. (she called them ducks!)Ellie and daddy. those cute hairbows that are in her hair are now with some other little girl. She dropped them at the American Girl doll store. (full story about that is on Facebook)

Ellia Lillian turns two!

For Ellia's birthday we just did a small family party. I made a cake and she opened her presents from us before we went to a church meeting. (we did this on Wednesday his day off instead of on her birthday because he has been working late all week and we didnt want to take the chance of not doing something. Next year all 3 girls will celebrate together like I was planning on this year)

Here she is with all her goodies she got (well, not her car but the rest of the stuff)

My little ham wouldn't let me light the candles she kept blowing them out!

and here she is in her car!! She loves to drive her "beep beep"
