Busy, but yet fun day!

Today i started off the day with working on some bows that needed to be delivered today, then we headed out to the school to get the kids registered. ( I got to do this just a bit early, registration is really all next week, but with the baby on the way next week I called and asked if I could get it done now!) So not only did I get them registered I have Zack's parent teacher visit done too! His teacher was out there doing some school work getting things ready and she let us get that done too! (that is a huge weight off my shoulders that now I only have 2 teachers to come to our house to visit before school!!)

After that the kids and I headed over to Wal-Mart to get a couple of things and I surprised them with going over to the deli to get some chicken for lunch. I ran by home and got some paper plates, table cloth, and drinks; then we went to the park and had a picnic!! They really enjoyed that it was fun!!

After our picnic we went back home the kids played outside still then I worked on some more bows. Now we have finished supper, Mike went over to Amie's to work on some of the remodeling, and I am going to sit and watch a movie with the kids!

I am happy with what I actually got done today! Still waiting on baby. Tomorrow is Mike's Birthday I don't really have anything planned to do with him because we don't know when baby is coming! Sunday we are having a homemade cheesecake for him that Jantina is making! (I think he will really like that!!)

Bella's Special Day plus so much more

Yesterday we went to Mom's for lunch then Mike went and helped out over at Amie and Brent's house redoing the kitchen. After Mike got done there he asked Bella where she wanted to go to for her birthday dinner, she chose McDonald's!! (what 3 year old wouldn't chose McDonald's?) So we went there as a family and then to DQ for ice cream. Melanie and the girls came over to give Bella a birthday present. She got her own Hannah Montana barbie doll! (she was excited)

Today we went to Springfield and got all the school supplies that the kids needed. (along with the supplies for VBS at Jeff St. for next week) After we got home I fed the kids leftovers for supper and then went and weeded the butterfly garden. I am so ready to have this baby now!

Some things that I have craved this time around are:
  • Monical's Pizza
  • Chocolate Milk
  • A & W Cream soda (also made as a float that is yummy!!)
  • DQ peanut butter cup blizzards
  • every now and then First Wok!

Why is it that that list is so fattening?!!?!?! AT least you can say I hit most of the food groups. Dairy, Breads, Meat, veggies, and fats!! (hahaha)

A few things that the kids have enjoyed this summer were colored smoke bombs, they like to run threw the "crazy" smoke.
Then Zack and Isaiah had fun taking all the Game Cube games and dvd's to make a tower.

other summer fun things were: Swimming at Katie's house, Going to the splash park in Blooming ton, Going to the Library every week, renting free movies at the movie store (and Library) and watching them, going to Isaiah's tee-ball games, play dates with friends and a couple of over nighters, Camping with the Cub Scouts, Going to Six Flags Great America, Key Lime water Resort, and so much more!!!

Finally warm enough to play in water outside!!

Today when Mike came home for lunch helped get the girls new water spray park blown up and ready to play in. Mike got it for the girls for their Birthday, but it has been too chilly to use it until today. They had a good time playing outside and getting wet. Bella was so excited. The only problem with this is that the giraffe doesn't want to stand up all the time!! :(

Sibling class

I took the girls to the Sibling class at the hospital. They had a good time. we got to tour the maternity ward, see a new "real" baby in the nursery, read a book about being a big sister, and wrapped up a present for the baby. The girls really liked it. Bella loved changing the baby diapers and learning to hold the baby properly. Moriah worked on coloring a picture for me to take to the hospital and put in the baby bed next to her sister. (i guess she doesn't care about the changing the diapers like Bella) Then when we were done with the class they each got a certificate saying they completed the Big Brother/Big Sister class along with a goodie bag with a book, button that says "I'm a big sister", thank you cards, and more.

Moriah did the American Girl theme and Bella did the Cinderella theme (funny that both girls chose Cinderella for their 3rd birthday) We had a few presents opened first and then had dinner. (burgers and dogs on the grill, yummy watermelon, potatoes, chips, jell-o, and more!!) then finished with the presents and did cake and ice cream! the girls cakes were so cute!! they LOVED them!! Chrys did a good job putting Molly (the American Girl doll) on Moriah' cake! It was a busy, but fun day!

Moriah's Party

Happy Birthday Moriah!! Today Moriah turns 6 and she had a few friends over to celebrate with her. Everyone brought their American Girl dolls and we had a great time. First we all sat in a circle and introduced ourselves and our dolls and when we got them, then we started playing games from the different eras of the dolls.

Here is a picture of all the doll friends that came. They were so impressed that I had a doll too!! I had Samantha all dressed up in her birthday dress for the party.
Here they are playing a game!

And this is the party table. I made little cinnamon rolls, petie fours (with vanilla wafer cookies and icing on top), purses (fruit roll up with candy corns inside, a licorice strap and a red hot button), Flowers in flower pots (nilla wafers with candies on top placed in an ice cream cone with marshmallows and choc chips melted to hold them in), ladybug m&m's (red m&m's with choc melted to make them ladybugs), and last but not least cakes (ice cream sandwiches decorated like a cake for each girl) Thanks to Chrys for coming and helping me put the stuff together for the girls!!

Overall we had a good time, playing games and eating little tiny snacks!!

Today I went to the Dr. everything still going good there, then we went to Kristy's to get pictures of the girls and have a short little visit (which was nice), then went to Sam's Club and got some food. Once we got it all unloaded I started cooking up some of the hamburger, made 2 large meatloaves, and 18 hamburger patty's!! So I have a few meals started for either when the baby gets here or for the next couple of weeks (we will see)!

I feel like I have gotten a lot done lately, I have just a few special orders to finish up before the baby arrives and then we can take some time off!!

Dr. Appt went well

Yesterday I had a Dr. apt. that went well. They did that strep test to make sure I don't need meds for delivery. Next week he thought he might check me to see if I have started any progress. After that Moriah and I went to the bread store, and to Sam's, then I surprised her and let her go to Build a Bear and make a bear! She made the Hannah Montana bear and got her 2 shirts and a pair of shorts. (I had 30.00 in build a bear money to use and thought that would be a good early Birthday present for her!) We also talked about what she wanted to do for her Birthday party. I was good one on one time with her!
